Please take a few minutes to read through this page, as it contains information for submitting a Request for Service and frequently asked questions for maintenance tips.
Gehan Homes offers two opportunities to have non-emergency warranty service performed on your house. Submit a request after you have been in your home at least 60 days. This waiting period will give you the opportunity to list anything pertaining to the structural, functional or mechanical properties of your home that might require service. Another request can be submitted one month before the one-year period expires.
Please keep in mind that either you or a representative must be present in your home when service work is performed. Service work is done between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
There are some items that are excluded from your limited home warranty. For a listing of these excluded items, please refer to your Homeowners manual in Section I.
For emergency service, plumbing, electrical, heat and air, or appliances please refer to Section II of your Homeowners manual, "Request for Service". A list of subcontractors' telephone numbers is provided. You may schedule an appointment with any of these businesses at anytime during your first year.
Once you have filled a request, our warranty personnel will be contacting you to schedule an appointment.
